MEET THE SLP

Hi! I’m Myranda— a speech-language pathologist and the founder of The Speech Nook.

I created The Speech Nook to be a calm, supportive space where children and families feel truly understood. My approach to therapy is rooted in connection, trust, and individualized care. My ultimate goal is to help child find their voice, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to communicate effectively in their everyday lives.

My clinical approach is informed by extensive advanced training, including the Selective Mutism Professional Training Institute, DTTC Advanced Training for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and specialized literacy programs such as Lindamood-Bell® LIPS and Visualizing and Verbalizing®.
